All the porch posts,
balusters and railings we offer are made from select, clear Western Red
Cedar. The
turned posts and balusters are made from stock that has been
finger-jointed and laminated after voids and defects have been removed.
This preparation ensures maximum strength and stability and provides a
beautiful finish, devoid of splits and cracks you so often see in the
products stocked at lumberyards and home improvement stores. Our
architectural exterior framed brackets are made in our shop from
mahogany and, like our doors, are built to last. If you
provide us with a blueprint or sketch of your plans, and consult with
your building department for local codes on railing height and baluster
spacing, we can help you assemble your bill of materials and and be sure
that you have everything you need to make your project a success. |
